Hello

Risky encounter 25 days ago. Today my ELISA (both antigen and antibody) tested negative.
What are the changes now? 70% that I have no HIV, lower, higher?

Please comments?

Only at test at 3 months will give anyone a conclusive negative test result.

Hello SunnyOne802,

I wish you all the best, just before I click send I would like to add something.
If ELISA is done with p24 antigen "sandwitch" including antibody testing, then HIV antigens or p24 antigens start to be quite visible by 17th day. (That's what I read).
Having said that if someone does not have antigens at day 25, either the virus is retarded, so to speak, or slowly replicating, or he is negative. That does not have anything to do with the antibodies which may take 3 months for the body to produce.

Please someone comment on this?
