Help am i overeacting hiv worry

Basically was stupid and had an encounter with someone on craigslist i am a black male he was white older. I was the insertive partner and i used a condom and it poped not really recognizing till i pulled out and the tip was out. I panicked and asked him was he hiv free and he assured he IS NEGATIVE  that he was also married. I text harassing him about if he was clean and he told me to calm down amd not to worry.  I also tested negative a month before that. I have no fever but i do have dry chest that is kinda dark like exzema.one of my armpits are sore and aching joints btw i do work a labor job. Will symotoms occure a month later AFTER INFECTION help!!!! IM TOO YOUNG IM SO STUPID I WANT TO HAVE A FUTURE AND KIDS.

The condom broke, therefore you had a risk for HIV and need to test. Have a 4th generation DUO at 28 days post this exposure. The results will be conclusive.
Symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV.

Please do not call yourself stupid. You were smart to use protection and it's not your fault the condom broke.

You should also be checked for STD's. You can post to our STD Forum for testing protocols.

Did he supply the condom or insist on it? If so he likely always does this although this isn't a certainty so you will still need to test.

Good, then try to relax until 28. If he is on the level about a wife then he is protecting her with the condom. You need to use a condom if you have anal or vaginal sex before your test result.

You could ask him to show his test result but it won't be conclusive unless he didn't have unprotected in his 28 window before the test, but no matter what he says I would test anyway so you will have something to show your next partner.
