Hi
Thanks for the reply and YES I will move on in life now , Time for being sexually responsible and concentrate on Job , Studies and enjoying life.
Life has given me a second chance and I will try to make most out of it.
Just out of curiosity why the result show as 0.11 instead of ZERO?
Regards
It would have measured both. Yes this test is good enought, yes you are HIV negative you have nothing to worry about.
If you continue down this path of anxiety then I would not only suggest the OCD forum but also a trip to your doc to discuss it with him/her. Its not a nice place to be.
Read this and take it in:
YOU ARE CONCLUSIVELY HIV NEGATIVE AND HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
Thanks for the Answer , before I get redirected to OCD forum can I ask 2 last question? :)
I read on the net that P24 Antigen is high when you have a recent exposure and infection of HIV , as the time passes by P24 antigen gets back to some what normal range . So the testing of antibodies is better way to determine the status. The test which I mentioned above only measured the P24 antigen or it measured the Antibodies as well ?
As mentioned my last risky exposure was 4 YEARS BACK. So is this test good enough?
When I am not HIV+ then why my result shows 0.11 , isn't it should be ZERO?
Regards
Yes,your results are reliable and conclusive. You don,t have hiv,you can move on now.No further testing is required.
Hey , Thanks for responding .
This is Microparticle immunoassay (MEIA) for simultaneous qualitative detection of antibodies to HIV[I & II) as well as HIV P24 antigen in serum or plasma. (This is exactly what is written in report)
^^ Is this test good enough and reliable? My last risky exposure was 4 years back. Should I get any other test done for HIV ? Or can i just move on ?
you dont have hiv :)
concerns about your smear should be addressed with your drs office
