Help

I was in a new relationship for the last 7 months. I was tested a few weeks after we started to have sex and all tests were negative. 6 months into the relationship i started to develop severe tescticle pain along with lumps under foreskin (soft lumps that seemed to be in the muscle tissue). I went to the ER and all tests came back negative. I was given antibiotics and the pain and lumps began to dissapear. After a couple days the pain and lumps came back. I saw my family doctor who assured me that I didn't have an STD, but perscribed me antibiotics to take twice a day for the next 10 days. The pain had gone away as did 2 of the 3 lumps. I still have a small lump under the foreskin and the testicle pain comes and goes, but is never constant. The girl i had been with informed me that she did sleep with her ex-boyfriend  4 months prior to me developing these lumps and testicle pain. Both her and her ex were tested while i was going through this and both tested negative for all STDs. I haven't had any other symptoms other than this pain and discomfort in my penis and testicles. Haven't been sick or developed flu like symptoms. No fever, night sweats, or chills. Haven't had discharge or pain during urination. Any ideas what could be causing this? Should i be worried about the possiblity of HIV?

I can't understand WHY the doctors kept putting you on antibiotics when all your tests were negative??? HIV can be tested for. I'm surprised that you have not had a HIV test along with all the others that you have had at least 2 times. Might be time to see a Urology MD. They get special training for that part of the body. I'd use protection with ANY partner til you know the answer.

If everyone tested negative, theres no way you could have HIV. Acute HIV symptoms happen soon after infection, so your symtoms wouldn't match up with the time line anyway.  Doesn't sound like HIV symptoms anyway.

If they both tested negative 3+ months after this started for you, it cannot be HIV. No idea what it could be
