Herpes or am I paranoid?

11 months ago I had a one night stand with a girl of questionable STD status, but I used a condom.  I had no symptoms that suggested a STD for 9 months.  On the 9th month after the episode I got a small, painless, solid, red bump the size of a pimple or an ingrown hair on the very bottom of my shaft.  There was a hair growing out of it, so I plucked the hair and didn't think much of it.  About a month and a half later the exact same bump came up in the exact same spot.  It never has developed into anything other than a little red bump.  No fluid, no blister, no scap, just a single red bump.  I know this isn't common herpes symptoms but it concerns me that it came up in the exact same spot.  Could this be herpes?

It seems like I've finally found a match, this is exactly what I've been going through...except I'm African-American so it isn't red or anything, and just like yours, it isn't poppable. And I too just thought it was an ingrown hair until it returned a week later. No pain, no itching. I'm most likely going to get tested next week so I can stop driving myself crazy trying to figure out what it is...I suggest you do the same.

I believe herpes cause painful blisters, try to do a search online, the bumps you describe is nowhere near herpes.
