Hi, Concerned I Have HIV

I have made some dumb mistakes and had unprotected sex with a woman I don't know the status of about a week and a half ago. She gave unprotected oral sex and also unprotected vaginal sex where I did not ejaculate inside of her, but touched her vagina (not penetrating) shortly after I did.

I started noticing a small red rash on just the head of the penis about 3 days later thinking it might be balanitis considering it was also very dry. It never spread past the head, and there was never any itching or pain, and I made an appointment with my doctor the next week and he said it didn't look like balanitis. (Which freaked me out.) He prescribed me Doxycycline for 10 days at 200mg a day and also had me take an HIV test, as well as for Chlyamidia and Ghonnorea (which also freaked me out even more.) During that same weekend (about 5-6 after exposure) I began feeling fatigued (no fever) and had the urge to urinate more frequently.

It's now almost week 2, and I'm feeling a little better in general and the rash on my penis has gone down and my urge to urinate has also gone down. However I still feel fatigued and am still waiting on the results. I plan on continuing to finish my meds of Doxycycline and seeing what happens.

What do you think my odds are of coming up HIV+? I am extremely anxious and nervous and have read that it's extremely difficult for the disease to be passed, so I like my chances. However I am still nervous as to what this could be. I have learned my lesson and will never go without a condom again unless it's my wife.

Also wanted to add that I have not seen a rash, no sore throat, but my muscles were pretty sore the past couple days. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, just need a 2nd professional opinion. Thanks.

You can take a 4th generation test at 28 days post exposure.
Symptoms prove nothing because they can indicate different diseases or conditions. Try to ignore them, as they are self-diagnosed and are likely misinterpreted by you or psychosomatic which is natural when you are living in fear.
Nothing is pointing to HIV so the more you analyze the more you are wasting your time and focusing on the unknown fears. Only a test can provide answers.
