Hi People .. plz i hope u can help me with this ??

hi my uncle is hiv positive we go to his house sometimes and we are ok with him .. he is a nice guy .. but he has alot of pimples in his face n sometimes he is scratching them with his fingers , my question is he gives me sandwiches with his hands sometimes if his hands are bloody becuz of the scratching can i get hiv ?? am getting married after 2 weeks should i wear condoms until i get tested , or i was never at risk as my mom said ???

Are you having unprotected sexual relations with your uncle? Are you and him shooting up drugs together sharing the same works? If you answered NO. Then you are not at risk, never will be at risk..

From the CDC.....

"HIV is spread by sexual contact with an infected person, by sharing needles and/or syringes (primarily for drug injection) with someone who is infected, or, less commonly (and now very rarely in countries where blood is screened for HIV antibodies), through transfusions of infected blood or blood clotting factors. Babies born to HIV-infected women may become infected before or during birth or through breast-feeding after birth."

You don't fall into any of these categories.......

You need to get educated on ransmission of hiv also talk with your uncle about your concerns he probably will be more than glad to discuss your fears
