I recently got very drunk and paid for oral sex. (2.5 weeks ago)  I remember tere was a condom on. While this was happening the worker noticed blood inside the condom. She then took this off and gave me paper towels to tidy myself up.

She the gave me a hand job and I finished it off. (at this point the condom was off)

I was so scared I went to visit the GUM clinic the next day, I was tested for everything and nothing came up.

I have suffered anxiety in the past and am now so worried. I am making myself sick. I have been getting mild headaches. I have noticed a few more spots on my chest and today noticed a rash (at the moment it is not very red just mild spots) on my chest. I have been sweating more and was not sure if my glands were sore. (I think my thoat was sore from the making mysef sick)

Should I be worried about HIV? The hospital say no. I have called a couple of helplines and they do not want to know. I have organised counselling. This has not come thorugh yet.

I don't know how I will get through the next couple of months. What is the earliest I can retest?

Anxiety will kick you ion the balls over and over.  I had a stripper do a similar situation to me w/o a condom.  Lots of symptoms: sore on penis - ended up being inflamed folicle.   Sore throat for weeks - still have it at times.  No HIV as of today- about 10 weeks past BJ.  I am not a lucky guy, but finally came to grips that I will probably not be the first guy in the world to get HIV from a hummer.  Impossible to make you do it, but just try to realax and understand that the only thing that is postitive since your hummer is this:  you got a hummer and paid for it..  Not to make light of it... I have another counseling session tomorrow... I miss the younger years when BJs were fun, not work...

Thanks for your comments. I still have aches in my back and my throat seems to get worse. My doctor thinks this is also anxiety and has prescribed anti-depressents. I am so worried and mad with myself for getting into this situation. Its now 3.5 weeks. I plan to test again at 28 days.

1. You can't get HIV from receiving a blow-job.

2. Not even one documented case of one acquiring HIV in this fashion.

3. Rest assured, even if there was blood present inside the condom, that was not the sex workers blood, the pores of the condom are too small to let the fluid in

4. You don't need a test for the incidence that you've mentioned, seek mental help and move on.

No I am not a smoker. The blood got in the condom from a cut on my penis. I had Psoriasis which made it a little more fragile.

I wish oral sex was all I had to worry about. It is soooooooooo low risk I don't think I would have even got tested. As for your face being warm and red are you a smoker?

Dave how did the blood get in the condom? I myself have been in the same situation, crying daily. I received unprotected oral. I had a 8 week pcr confirmed by eliza 1/2 neg. Which has gave me some hope. All symptoms A-z except for high fever and some other but i'm convinced. doc said it's all anxiety, and he wasn't convinced a bit, although he might have been just calming me down, plus he's not an HIV expert.  Hang in there buddy. Try to stay strong. I myself have concluded that life's too short to go thru all this trauma.

Your hospital gave you the right advice: nothing to worry about.

I did not mention that my eyes have been sore. So have my kidneys. Re the eyes I have been crying daily
