Hiv and gonorrhea

I've posted once before about a guy I meet first ever gay experience. I read that if you're Hiv poz and have an STD like gonorrhea your chances of spreading HIV is higher.  Well he had gonorrhea but he told me he was hiv negative. I'm still sleeping with the guy I'm top only. I felt like once I got gonorrhea from the guy that was my most dangerous possible exposure. 4 months later I take an hiv test. Throughout this time we're still sleeping together like 3 times a month.  The results were negative. Prior to that I was sick from taking two different kinds of antibiotics orally. Usually ones a shot. I lost so much weight and stress myself out to death all before taking the hiv test. I've begged this guy to take a test. He keeps saying he will but there's nothing to worry about. Never had any symptoms besides the ones from the antibiotics and stress and anxiety.

So do anyone agree that when I contracted gonorrhea that was my highest exposure with this guy?

The guy is so shy don't like to talk about important issues like I do. Won't even tell his doctor he's gay. So he finally went and got tested the day before thanksgiving. He didn't do the rapid response test like I asked him to. So they tell 5 to 7 days call back and we'll have ur results. Today makes 7 days and I'm like are going to call. He's upset. NOO. I gota call on the 5 of Dec. I was like but I asked you yesterday and you said today. I don't want to lose this guy but I can't talk serious with him without him shutting completely down. A conversation about STDs will lead him to say I'll call you back and I be like wtf. I try my best to put his behavior on his age which is 24 and I'm 34.

So bottom line we've been having sex about 3 times a month for 6 months. Contracted gonorrhea got treated and became ill which I thought were ARS. 4 months later I take a oraQuick test results negative. Last sexual encounter was 5 weeks ago yesterday and I'm starting to panic again because a cold just started. No fever or headache. Throat doesn't hurt unless I cough. I just wants some advice.

Your questions are missing some very important information.  Are you having unprotected (no condom) anal sex, or are you using condoms? Are you both monogamous, or are either of you having sex with any other person?

Yes, another STD could increase your risk, but only if the other person is HIV+.  That is unknown at this time.
