Hiv exposure and test

Basically, long story short I had protected sex with a Thai massage lady. Didn't go for long and didn't ejaculate it ended up going down as I was too drunk!! When I looked after I'm pretty sure there was no split in the condom but just worried that maybe it could have exposed me a bit as I was almost soft and the condom was hanging off because of that... this was on April 1st and I had a test when I got home on the 13th, I got my results today and they were negative for everything. However I have 2 questions, was I at risk anyway? Do I need to take another test as it was less than 2 weeks after possible exposure? This was in an ordinary GUM clinic so not sure on what test was used, let me know whether it's worth going back and checking once more. Note aswell I have been having some lower abdominal pain recently and pain in testicles, maybe it's all in my head I'm not sure. Thanks!

Yes you are right, you didn't need testing in the first place. You had no exposure. As long as the head of your penis was covered, you have had no risk. The test that you took is way too early, regardless of type.  If I were you, I'd put his episode behind me and move on. If you're still skeptical, re test for peace of mind, not that you need it.

Thanks, it's almost been a month now so is t worth just going to get a rapid test? Or shall I go back to the GUM and get the full works again?

Obviously the advice given for you means that testing for HIV would be about as useful as testing for male pregnancy.
This is an HIV forum but there is an std for that info.
For piece of mind I am going to go back, is 4 weeks accurate enough?
You can test anytime, as you didn't have a risk.
