Hiv from a towel with possible fresh blood.

So, I am currently seeking treatment for AIDS phobia and it hard to tell what is real and what not and if I am over-reacting or going to save my life.

So, I have a fresh cut or at least it feels fresh because of the soap when I wash burns on my anus.  I went upstairs and dryed my *** and blood was on the towel and I'm not sure if it was fresh or if it was from me, but because of my mental issues I can't let it go.  My question is:
If I had a fresh wound, and a towel was placed there on a Saturday and I dryed off on Sunday at 12 is there a possibilty of hiv infection transmission? If the blood was from an hiv positive individual?

There are no doctors here anymore but this is a moderated board.
There is nothing else I can say, so if you aren't able to accept my information, talk it over with whoever is treating you for HIV phobia.

It's actually a cut on my butt hole specifically.

Plus if you take PEP you will really have something to worry about. This was posted yesterday.

I wouldn't take PEP unless I was exposed to someone who was confirmed to be HIV positive.  It's not like taking an Advil or something minor. It's a toxic, hard core medication that has repeatedly caused side effects that range from mildly annoying to deadly. And people who've taken it and reported back here have said the side effects last long after quitting the pills.

I also want to know what you when and when not to seek pep for treatment or when it would be prescribed to stop acting crazy ...

HIV is instantly inactivated in air so the only sex risks are insertive unprotected anal or vaginal -  which a towel is not classified as either of, so you are safe.
