Hiv question

So I have tested for all stds including hiv up to 5 months and 1 week after a oral sex exposure from a woman I am a male. After I had a open soar underneath my penis just a single one. Weeks later I saw 3 pimple like red dots on my penis. I think I received herpes 2 and with it hiv as we'll but since I received two viruses that they are taking a long time to seroconvert. I have taken hep a b c tests up to 5 months as we'll as a p24 test at 3 weeks after and naat tests at 3 and 4 1/2 months with third generation tests as we'll. I have had a lot of symptoms related to hiv and am scared I have something bad but it's just not showing on the test. My doctor said it could take up to a year for hepatitis and hiv to show and I said that would be horrible of our government CDC saying 97% of people will show at 3 months. I don't know what to do at this moment and yet again I'm going to take another nap because I'm tired and it's the middle of the day. I was wondering if 6 months is conclusive for all stds? And can herpes make any other test take longer to show? Also is it easy to get herpes and hiv at the same exposure from oral sex? Than you so much

Thank you for your quick replies it means a lot. I just have to stop looking at material online because there are so many different window periods and stories. But if later I test positive I will definetly be coming back on and telling everyone my story. But hopefully not

One year? You need a new doc. They are WAY behind on new testing guidelines. 3 months is considered conclusive, check out CDC testing guidelines. What are you spending money on? You dont need to test. You are HIV negative as you NEVER had a risk, or needed to test.

Thanks for your reply. I have seen my physician and they all say that getting hiv from oral is rare but can happen also the tests need to be done all the way to 1 year. I just am nervous and don't know where to turn to with the questions that I have. Also is there a set time to be able to put all of this behind me? And stop sending money and effort into finding out the problem?

"I know I have something it's just not showing" - Your feelings are not scientifically accurate. As Life360 told you, you did not put yourself at risk of acquiring HIV from this encounter. Not only were not at risk, your multiple (and medically unnecessary) negative HIV results prove conclusively that you do not have HIV. Therefore, that "something" you think you have is not HIV.  If your symptoms are bothersome, you should consult your physician.

I also deep kissed her she was a nasty skank from a small town for sure and wanted to have unprotected sex but I said no. But I wouldn't be on this from anxiety I know I have something it's just not showing. Eyes are red tired vision is going I can't concentrate on **** and when I drink I go retarded haha like I used to be able to drink at least. But are you someone who works at a clinic or something or just some kind person giving a opinion? Thanks for your response tho much appreciated

Hi, a woman giving you oral sex would not be any risk for contacting hiv so any symptoms your experiencing would not be hiv related.
