Yeach actually this is like my fourth test , the first one was on October 5 months after the exposure my Gyn told me it was conclusive , since I guess I was suffering from anxiety and since Since I was reading that the window period was 6 months I got scared and went to a care center and they did a rapid test ( insti ) and came back negative this was at 7 months and a week after that test I had my annual physical with my General Doctor and since she saw I was still worried she also requested a Hiv test and came back negative (4th Generation ) and she told me just to let this go and that test was just for a piece of mind … I guess I should stop with my anxiety and like you said be safer next time.
Hi,
Yes. 4th generation duo test done at 7 months is conclusive (4th generation tests after 28-30 days of initial exposure are conclusive). You are safe and HIV negative which your test proved. Going forward, strictly use a Condom. A barrier is needed for penetrative sex.
