Hiv transmission through red bumps\spots on skin

Hello Doctor,

I did the following: She got little red bumps over her neck. Actually, I was also licking her body , on the neck, boobs, stomach. I did not lick any other private parts at all. And I am completely dressed. I was gently rubbing her boobs and her neck with my hand. While I am licking (not biting at all), by any chance if there is any ruptured red spot\red bump\red pimple(I do not exactly know what to call it as), and If I swallow (or enter my mouth) the little trace of the fluid that comes out of that slightly ruptured red pimple\red spot\red bump, Is there any risk of HIV as I have mild sores in my mouth and lips (no bleeding at all though)?

There was no visible bleeding at all from the red spots\ bumps from the women

My concern is , as all those spots\bumps are red in colour, when there is a rupture because of the friction from hand while touching them, Or gently rubbing them ,is it only blood that comes out? And if that minute quantity of fluid which might be unnoticed by eyes , when entered mouth by kissing or licking the skin, is there a chance of HIV spread when there are mild sores on lips and mouth?

Please consider worst case scenario.

I am very much tensed with this new doubt and fear and really not able to concentrate on any thing at all.

Doctor, If I am not clear, please reply me, I can provide you more details.

Thanks a lot once again.

Welcome to the Forum.  HIV is not spread by touching or kissing or any sort. This is the case even for persons who have rashes, bumps, scratches and other areas of irritated skin.  The exposure you describe was no risk whatsoever for HIV acquisition.

HIV is spread ONLY by genital or ano-genital sexual contact and injection of infected material deep into tissue.

There is no medical need for testing related to the events that you have describe so clearly. EWH

Hello Doctor,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I am able to concentrate on work, eat and sleep properly after seeing your reply.
Actually, in many other popular websites, I have seen replies from doctors saying that, when blood enters mouth, based on the quantity of blood that entered into mouth and other factors like PH tract etc, there would be a risk of HIV, even if there are no visible sores in the mouth.
By reading the above statement in the websites, I ran into fears. Just out of curiosity, do you deny that statement above? Or even if that statement is true, I need not worry because, in my case, the fluid that might have come out by slight ruptures would be negligibly minute enough to consider for any risk even if entered mouth by licking or kissing?

If your time permits, Could you please elaborate a little bit, If I am not asking for too much?

Or do you suggest me not to worry much as it depends on various other factors which we cannot analyze in a short discussion and I am any way safe in my particular scenario?

Actually, I am a software engineer by profession and find it hard sometimes to understand the logic related to medicine :)

Thanks a lot once again for your time.
