Hiv worries

I thought about creating a new thread about some people worried about being infected having all the symptoms and finally ending with a negative result. This kind of threads will ease the mind of a lot of people and worriers like myself. So if anybody passed through such a case please post and do not say that the result turned negative after only 3 months since we are a lot on this forums who are not convinced about the testing results.

Iyou are right, there are allot of people in these forms  they come when they get worried, but no one come back with their final result, no one tell the symptoms they got were really ARS or that was only with worries, is there is any one who can really tell there experience till last result?

Hello Guys,
i had all the symptoms of ARS , i had the fever , headache , muscle pain & joints pain , this was 4 weeks after my un-protected sex with my new GF.
she immediately take HIV test which turns back negative , she follow it with three tests in three different months ( all come back NEG),

i still have the swollen lymph nodes \ tonsils , also i have a chronic sore throat since last August ..

all of this still i have with a negative result in the other hand :(

I had excatly same symptoms and negative up to 6 months

I may suggest that we might be all late seroconverters because of our special weak immune system or because our blood is unreadable by the test labs. Or we might be dealing with a new hiv-like virus but really hope that it is not as distructable as hiv.

For example ebv or cmv have same symptoms as hiv

What i learn 6 months negative is end of it. If you havin symptoms

If you dont have symptoms 3 months enought

And ask your doctor to do full blood count and would show in ur blood if something wrong

We know 3 months is enought.  
But if u still having symptoms 6 months just to peace of mind.  Otherwise worry wont go away

That is not the subject of the thread. If you still want to insist on that 3 months i am going to promise if i do the test, if i have the courage to do it, i promise that before i die i will post my positive result and tell the people on this forum that his experts are doing their best to find a way to standardize the test results but the people who do not come back on the forum means that they finished being also poz and do not have the courage to post. Sorry for being so negative but i am simply freaking blaming science for not working hard enough to find a cure. Human being was on the moon and soon in Mars more than 30 years ago but cannot discover a medication.

if you are having "symptoms"...MORE THAN LIKELY "IN YOUR HEAD"...and you've been assessed as not having a hiv concern...this forum has nothing left to offer you and you should work with your dr.

What are you talking about for peace of mind?When will it ever end then?Are you going to test for the next ten years just for peace of mind. 3 Months is conclusive and final,anyone that receives a negative result at 3 Months doesn't have HIV.End of story.

They are making billions of dollars from testing and medications and many people are getting very rich off this,do you really think the first thing on their minds has been finding a cure?

Why would it concern you, you don't have an HIV concern and aren't buying any of the ARVs. A vaccine would make any pharmaceutical company more than producing ARVs.

Yea i do and i do very much. I hope that i do not have it. My life is really finished. You said that i do not have a risk but how do you explain all these people who test positive even though they have used protection? What if i am one of them? What if the lab technician did not his job well? Seems that antibody tests require certain skills. The last CBC i did showed a drop from 7.2 to 5.5 in 2 months for my WBC.
