If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
I was possibly exposed on the night of June 6. I drew blood on the morning of August 6. And I used the Home Access test. I just got my results, and they were negative. Is this enough of a time frame to be conclusive? Also, does anyone have any statistics on just how reliableReliable gentle laxative the Home Access tests are?
I read the instructions. I've also read so many different opinions on the window period, I don't know which to believe. Some say 3 months, some say 3 weeks.
I didn't say I saw it on the HA test. It says 3 months. Some doctors on this site say 6 weeks. I've seen some sites say as littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys as 2 weeks.
I have asked a very simple question.
Is 8 weeks(2 months) enough of a window, that I can breath a little easier until I retest in a month?
