All people are different at how their body produces antibodies.
I did post the same one but at the wrong forum (STD), then i posted here, it was today, it might be my post again.
Does the antibodies increases with time after exposure? how much the test can detect antibodies at 6 weeks vs 8 weeks and so on? is there a percentage per day or per week?
Thanks Teak for your responds, it is helping me to understand more since I am new to this.
You wasted your money. There are no tests approved to give a conclusive negative test result earlier than 3 months.
I did read most of the posts here and I decided to do the DNA and ELISA test based on the information that is given in the forum, that is one test looks for antibodies and the other test looks for the virus itself, I did these tests becuase I can't wait for 3 months, the stress is too much to handle and can't focus on my work. I needed some early indicator so I can make decisions. I never read about a guy that is getting married issue, here soon! i missed his post.
PCR DNA test is not a diagnostic test. You took the ELISA to early. The window period is 3 months. Most people will test positive at 6-8 weeks. You will need to take a conclusive test at 3 months post exposure. This story sounds just like another guys that was posted recently.
