How dangerous is mutual masturbation when ejaculation is present?

Recently I was with another guy who later admitted he is hiv positive. All we did was share mutual masturbation (exchanging pre*** at times with our hands). Later I noticed a very tiny unhealed rose thorn ***** on my right hand. This hand was used to stimulate him during masturbation.  Also he used an adult toy on me in place of himself for anal sex. I requested that he wear gloves while using the toy to penetrate me but during the course of things he masturbated himself (he did preejaculate quite a bit) and then put that hand inside me to stimulate me. So pre*** had to be on the glove before he inserted his fingers inside me. I am freaking out now because I know his positive status. How much at risk am I?

Masturbation is not a risk of contracting HIV. HIV does not stay active outside its host.

I'm trying to educate myself, friend. I went to the health clinic here and was told by the "professionals" there that I was at a slight risk and should be tested in three months. Other friends of mine tell me what you do and not to worry. Who am I to believe? So looking for other insight here. Thanks for your reply.
