How long until gingivitus and thrush appear...

I had a high risk activity in the first week of september 2009 it is now mid january 2010 can you tell me how early would symptoms as thrush and gingivitus would show up?

There is nothing saying that you will get thrush and gingivitus neither is specific to HIV. You can test now and obtain a conclusive test result.

I was just wondering because I went to the dentist today and they said I have a gum infection and or gingivitus but I used to be a smoker and I havent been to the dentist in 3 years so im thinking that has someting to do with it...I asked about thrush cause I would get white spots at the corner of my mouth that were very small when i scraped them away they would not bleed or anything i dont know if it was normal or if it was thrush but i have seen none so far today so maybe i just needed a cleaning?!?

Get tested.This is the only way to know.Having trush (thrush) does not mean you have HIV, but if you think that you were exposed to hiv the only way to know is to get tested.You can go now ( your window period is long enough) and get a conclusive result.
