Thank you guys all so very much! Love you and best of luck to everyone as well. Happy new year!
If you tested 1 year after exposure with any antibody test it is conclusive. Do not worry, but do have a happy new year. All the approved antibody tests are highly highly accurate and reliable after 1 year. They say 3 months is conclusive, so you are way beyond that...enjoy the new year and live life to the fullest...but be safe.
Move on You don't need a retest. You're negative.
Move on You don't need a retest. You're negative.
yes but they would ask "positive" for a retest, that's why i'm wondering if negative should cencern as well to some level....
no need,it's ok.let it go
you need't to know which test it is,you only need to know the result is negative.
So one time, one test, no need to retest right?
you are joke?7 mos negative means what?think it yourself,if i test 7 mos negative i do't ask anybody.i test negative 44days,i will retest,negative forever.
It was a conclusive test result. You are negative.
Sorry let me clarify my question:
The unprotected sex was a year before I took the test. (So it was long enough to take the test) No sperm was in me but we didn't use condomn during that 10-20 minutes. Then I had the test because I was concerned about the unprotected action.
The result was negative, though I didn't know which test it was, I know it's a regular test center for such testing. And it was 7 months ago. I wish I'd ask and remember what particular test it was. Are all tests reliable or is it a high risk virus not detected?
It depends on how long after your exposure you tested. 3 months after exposure is considered conclusive. If you have tested 7 months after the test is extremely conclusive. Modern day antibody tests are extremely accurate if done after the "window period."
Don't know your risk and don't know what test you took or when you took it. No one can give you an assessment with limited knowledge.
