How risky is Receiving oral sex?

hey doc how ya doin, So tonight i received oral sex from a transexual (high risk individual). She assured me before that she was clean  but one can never know she performed oral sex on me for a minute or 2 and finished me off with her hand. What is the risk of this encounter and should i get tested?

Welcome to the forum.

Not all transsexual persons are at high risk for HIV, of course.  Your partner may or may not be.  In any case, most people do not lie about HIV status when asked directly, so it is unlikely your partner is infected.

Oral sex is extremely low risk for HIV.  Some experts believe oral to penile transmission never happens.  One report from CDC estimtes the average risk, if the oral partner has HIV, at around once in every 20,000 exposures.  That is equivalent to receiving a B-J once a day from infected persons for 55 years and maybe never getting infected.  In other words, your risk is much to low to require testing for HIV.  But if you remain nervous about it, have an HIV test in a few weeks.

Questions about oral sex and HIV transmission risk are among the most common on the forum.  I just tried entering "oral sex transmission" into the search link and it came up with over 1,000 threads.  Take a look at them if you would like more information about it.

Saliva kills HIV.  You absolutely should not consider PEP.

Please accept the reassurance and stop worrying about it.  Get tested again if you feel you need to do it for psychological support.

That will be all for this thread.  I won't have any further comments or advice.
