I am very much concerned about my exposure to hiv . have a sore throat and swollen lymph node . please help?

i had done protected sex with a prostitute 58 days before. this was the biggest mistake of life. please god forgive me for this. 2 days later i developed a sore throat with a feeling of lump inside my throat a severe ear ache. no fever, no swallowing difficulty, no runny nose. generally a sore throat last foe a week but this continued for 15 days so i went to a doctor . he gave me ibuprofen an bioporax. i feared that i have hiv symptom but after searching on internet i came to knew that it hiv sore throat donot develop after 2 days and it should take 2-4 weeks to appear. so i thought it could be due to some allergy. after 40 days i developed some hot flashes- a feeling of fever but when it took my temperature it was less than normal. this could be due to anxiety and stress. after 45 days i stated having ver minor jint pains. but then after 54 days the worst thing happened. i got a swollen lymph node on my left side of neck. it is a size of a pea and i even get neck pain while moving my neck side ways. i have a burning sensation and pain throughout the left neck . today i went to doctor he gave a diclac gel and told that the node may be swollen due to some cold it will be okay. i donot have lymph node anywhere except this on the left neck. i still have a sore throat and soem ear ache till today. this are the things happened after my night with prostitute. the prostitute seemed to be healthy and beautiful i dont think she might be having hiv. she changed my condom twice with full protection and i kissed her on lips. my another fnd also had sex with same prostitue after me but he does not have any symptoms. i live in ukraine and i study medicine here. i am basically from india. language is the biggest problem here. people speak ukrainian and russian no english. so its even difficult to talk with the doctors in the hospital. i am thinking of hiv test but i fear that if it came positive i will be noticed and i will be deported from this country and i have to leave with no degree and a bloody hiv. so i havnt done any test yet with this fear. i am at a point that i dont know what to do with a lot of anxiety and stress. my questions are: 1) my swoolen lymph node is due to my long sore throat? 2) my sore throat is due to hiv that it laste for so long more than50 days and still going on? 3) if the lymph node is due to hiv it should have fever or fatigue also or some othe symptom? 4) if lymph node is due to hiv it shold appear on othe parts also. ihave only one painfull lymph node in my left neck no fever. no rash, no fatige, no loss of appetite. i have to test for hiv affter going back to india in june. here i cannot if i tested positive they will throw me out within a week. what should i do. my all frnd do sex with girls and prostitutes they never had any lymph node or hiv symptom. iam also only concerned about my lymph node plz. help me out. please.........

than wats this freaking swollen lymph node can you explain something about swollen lymph nodes of hiv. how they look? do they cause pain? does they are followd by fever? they must appear in other parts also like groin and armpits. one swollen node indicates hiv? please help me

You didn't have an exposure and if you have swollen lymph nodes they don't have nothing to do with HIV.

i am getting pain in my right armpit from 2 days. i think its like a swollen lymph node. its paining a lot there but cannot find a swelling only pain. but i have no fever, no rash , no fatigue, no decreased appetite. the lymph nodes in my left neck are still swollen. i had gone to a private laboratory today and they told me that they cannot perform hiv test. they told me that that i have to go to gov. hospital there they will register my namme and passport no. and if my test returned positive ill be deprted from this country. my other colligue and seniors also told me that not to test here if i came back positive tjey will throw me out. so i have to wait till june until i go back to india and have to test there. i am going mad what to do now?? can these swollen lymph nodes on armpit and neck indicate hiv? i donot have any other symptoms associated with swollen lymph nodes? theres nothing left for me except to find out hiv status by my symptoms. what are causing these lymph nodes to swell ?another thing - are there any home kits available in the market or drug store for hiv test? please help me ...

see your doctor if you are having health concerns...its not hiv related and therefore not a concern of this forum.
