I am worry

Hi Doctors, I scared about HIV ,please help me! ago 3 weeks,I went to a public tolet and I touched the toilet doorknob while my finger had a open wound(it was bleeding),I worried if there is some blood on doorknob of someone else touched it before me?could I catch HIV in this way?please..?

Nope, HIV is not transmitted through environmental surfaces. changes in temperature and exposure to air render the virus inactive. You're fine.

but HIV not die immediately when exposure to air!  Can it live some minutes outside the body?I  touched the doorknob  immediately after last person touched it!have I risk if he bled on it?

You did not have a risk of contracting HIV. You cannot contract HIV from environmental surfaces blood or no blood.
