I called...

I called home access just now and the phone rang and I waited with the music. I had to offer my number and talked to someone, she said that the test couldn't be positive or negative. That sometimes in the blood might be preventing this. Such as medicine- I got back from Mexico in late January and had to take some medicine- had two throat infections :( I said I was worried about something that happened 11 months ago and she said then I am negative. Because since it's been 11 months, it would have shown some antibodies. Let me just say when that phone was ringing to go to a person- I was so scared. But I explained why I was worried and she said negative and if still worried, take another test in a month. But she said she doesn't think it's needed for another test.

I am so relieved to hear her say that- I'm going to go and call my fiance!

Thanks guys...I was nervous at first when she said couldn't be positive or negative but so happy when she said it would have shown some antibodies after 11 months. She said even 6 months- only around 3% of people have to wait this long to show anything. And other news was generally 3 months is pretty safe to know if you have it or not. So just for others who are scared and since- if you're taking the home access test or any test- you might have your blood effected by some medicine like I did but please speak up! Explain how long the situation was ago so they can determine more!  I'm going to go and try to enjoy my life again. And I hope others have good news as well. I think it's going to take a few days to let things set in. But I think I better stay off the boards because I don't want to start having anxiety and doubting my test later on.

Hehe- yes I am a women lol. She said it was inderteminate -test but I would have had antibodies in my blood after 11 months. I explained that I had been taking medicine and she explained that is probably it. I think it would be a good idea to stop being online so much and relax. And I suggest to others reading this the same- I went through so many emotions and of course I know because I'm a women- that doesn't help. If my fiance's test comes back negative which it should- then I'll just be focusing on having a good marriage. So to everyone reading this- good luck and please- unless you are completely sure about a person, use a condom!!!

i don't want to start your anxiety and I am sure you are negative now but I don't understand your comment about that it wasn't positive or negative - was the test inderteminate.

In other words did she tell you your test was non-reactive or negative.

See?  Good news, huh?  If you do decide to test again, why don't you go to a clinic where they can do a 20 minute oraquick test on you.  Any county medical facility has free annonymous testing.  You just have to call and make an appointment.  Jeff...in case you haven't figured it out by now...zmythoughts is a girl.

I don't want to freak you out but an indeterminate result is not a negative/non-reactive result - I would go get tested again. I'm sure you're fine but wouldn't you rather go and get a definitive result than someone interpreting a indetrminate result.

Could you please tell me how many days they took to get the results. It is mentioned next day results in new blue label package.
Does that mean next day after you send the packet or next day after they recieved the packet
