It's been six weeks since my unprotected exposure. Now I'm experiencing joint aches in my ankle, knee , shoulder.
Also I'm having muscle pain and little bit a sore throat and I cough a little :S
Can this symptoms be due to HIV?

I just experienced everything you're going through.  I only just got my negative results back about ten minutes ago, and the truth is, after seeing that word "negative" I suddenly realized that I was talking myself into having all the symptoms.  It's not worth the stress, AT ALL.  Listen to the people on this site.  They know what theyre talking about.  I had unprotected sex for well over 20 minutes and also something similar to what you described above.  The other one also lasted for around 20 seconds.  I was freaking out also, but there are so many other things your symptoms could be from.  I have a white coated tongue, canker sore, swollen tonsils, swollen lymph nodes, muscle pain, tiredness, and abdominal problems, and I still tested negative for HIV.  Hope that makes you feel a little better

i know how you are feeling , but what i can tell you is don't get frustrated and don't be obssessed with thinking about hiv and reading about the symptoms because i bet if you read about a symptom today and think about it your mind might really make you feel like you are experiencing it .
as kumar told you in order to know your status you need totest not diagnose yourself with symptoms.a test at 13 week is conclusive according tto the guideline of this forum , but if you want you can have one (which it will make you less anxious )and if negative do another one in another 6 weeks. good luck and stay calm and optimistic.

nope..ars appears before 6 weeks..6 week is late for ars to still be there..
dont worry..the odds of transmission froma single time exposure is small..plus the time of exposure was small 20 sec..dont worry..you just need to go for a test at the times mentioned above

to be honest with you, symptoms cant diagnose hiv...ppl here in this forum come with numerous symptoms but enf up testing negative
you can test now for a good indication of your status, if negative, test again at 13 weeks for a conclusive result..only by a hiv test you will know your status..so dont worry..your symptoms might not be due to hiv afterall
