I did hiv blood test

hello

I finally did blood test for hiv    after 9 weeks about 62 days  from exposure  


it was negative  Thank god  thank a lot

test blood was by ELISA TECHNIQUE


is that enough

because I got irritable bowel syndrome  of over-thinking

That must mean 4th GEN.

Then you are OK and no more worries.

If they took your blood and sent it to a testing clinic and it probably took a few days or so, then that would be 4th GEN.
You can get result from 3rd GEN test in 1 min nowadays (but you have to take 90 days before you can take it).
That is why the 4th GEN test is so good and reliable (and recommended by the CDC).

Was your test 4th GEN or 3rd GEN.

4th GEN tests are designed specifically to be done at 4 weeks and after. They are also done in a lab. They are also conclusive in that time period.
If after 90 day's, you only need to antibody only test (which would mean you would only have to an Insti 1 minute rapid, for an conclusive result.
