I had sex with a married woman for 3 minutes

Hey,
I am worried because i had sex with a married woman. The sex lasted 3-4 minutes and she was really tight which leads me to believe she hasn't had sex for a long time. My dumb*** did not wear a condom. I asked her the next day (called her) to see if she was HIV positve and she said no (she doesnt sleep around), but she did with me. Regardless, my question is can i contract HIV from 3-4 minutes of intercourse. I did not precum and was dry as well as she was. This was only my second time having sex. Thank you.

3-4 minutes is a short time of exposure but there is still a risk of getting hiv if your partner has got it..
i suggest testing at 6-8 weeks for a good indication of your status and test again at 3 months for a conclusive result..

A risk is a risk. You had exposure to HIV and need to get tested.

low i must say..as not everyone has got hiv..

I appreciate it. She did tell me she was not infected, but testing would be the best way to know. This happened 3 days ago, and i have been having the chills for the last 2 days. I do not if my mind is playing tricks on me, or if it is something worse.

I ordered the HIV home test kit, do you think they work just as well as going to the clinic? I ordered two of them. I was thinking about taking a test next week and one in 6 weeks.

home access kit is fda approved..this is if your are in the US
from your nick i assume you are from the UK..i dont know is there any home test kit which is approved over there..
however, if you are ordering a kit made elsewhere or a kit which is not approved by your governing body, then it is of no use as you wont know whether the kit actually works..
i suggest better get tested at a clinic

well everyone is an individual..there is no way to know other than by testing..
as i said the odds are on your side as it was a brief exposure, your partner wasn't from a high risk group and not everyone has got hiv..
test to find out..good luck
