I have my bself convined its HIV
I had unprotected sex with a female more than twenty times . The last time was around one year ago and the first was maybe as much as 4 years ago.
I'm in my early 40's in good health except for a sinus condition that i've had for 8 or so years.
It seems about six months to a year ago i started to feel some dicomfort under my left armpit area.I thouht it was joint and mus pain.
In the last month or so the pain has become more so and is also in my right under arm. my hands have become itchy at times and seem redder than normal with white spots on the palms. the itching comes and goes and may be from petting my dog.
In the last 10 days the pain under the arms has become more so and swollen ( My lymph nodes)
I should mention that my letf hip and shoulder have been realy sore all this time.
My lower back hurts and now the lymph nodes in my right groin have started to hurt. a few days ago i noticed my face and now my upper body has become red, When you push on the skin in goes back to white but then returns to the red colour.
The strang thing is that my sinus problem seems to be better than it has in a long time I had been taking claratin D for over 2 year but stopped all meds two months ago and now just flush my sinus out with water.
I went for a HIV test yesterday and wont know for a week or so... I have my self convined HIV is all it could be. Im stressed and so sad and scared.

Do not get obsessed with every symptom you notice. Symptoms won't tell anything about your status.
Do not use Google to diagnose HIV.
Internet is full of false and misleading information taken out of context.
Searching Google for symptoms will only make you feel worse.

I guess I just can't think of what else it could be...The funny thing is i was tested for HIV the day after I first had sex with this person and was found neg... and so if I had never slept with her, and found that I have these symtems I would be woundering what was going on, Could I have all these symtems and not be pos, What else could it be...
I relize i'm going around and around, but i have know one to talk to. This is my only way to feel I'm not alone with all this fear.

Please note that in order to become infected with HIV, one must have an unprotected sexual intercourse with an HIV positive partner.

cant tell you whether or not you have hiv...but i can tell you that your "symptoms" are not indicative of infection.
