I just want it straight.

Hi,

I know you guys have heard this all before but it will mean a lot if some one can give it straight. I was in bangkok and on my last day i picked up a bar girl ( she was actually the bar tender) and i had sex with her w/o a condom. I was in her for probably 5 - 7 mins and then realised what i was doing was pretty stupid and pulled it out and that was that. next morning i kept asking her if she was safe and she said yes. I cannot get tested for next 3 months as i am overseas. I have a slight cold and soar throat and it happened next morning when i woke up with her. I presume its from drinking ice cold brevrage. Never before have i had unprotected sex or have contracted any std's. I am freaking out and I can't concentrate. Do i have good chances of getting the virus.

You had a risk. Can't tell you percentage or anything like that. You can always see if the woman will get tested, that might help you some. Test in 6-8 weeks for a good indication and 3 months for a conclusive result.
