If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
See I read that canker sores were a symptom of immune disorders. You really never had that as a symptom?....
Teak, since you have been to many doctors and specialists for your infection, have you ever heard of canker sores as being an indication of HIV or has any doctor said it was a common symptom?....
First off, a canker sore would not be a symptom, it's a sign. No canker sores are not an indication of HIV. HIV has no specific signs or symptoms. The only way to know your status is by testing.
In layman's terms, "signs" are those "things" that we can see, and "symptoms" are those "things" that the patient tells us.
so with all your knowledge on HIV...would you say that I can forget about canker sores as a sign? I never had them before. When was the last time someone tested positive after a 3 month HIV test?
Sheesh.
