IS IT CONCLUSIVE HIV TEST !!

80 days ago I had a high risk exposure . I started to notice ARS (swollen lymph nodes, night sweating , extreme fatigue) about 30 days after the exposure,
I had an HIV RNA test done at 60 days past exposure,  antibody test at 68 days and  antibody test at 74 days . and they came negative. Even in light of all of those results i'm still very worry
Do u think those results are accurate enough for me to rule out HIV at this point?
And the chances of resat to be changed..
regards

Hi, I work as a nurse at a primary care health center which also manages patients with HIV.  Based on the information you provided its unlikely that you're infected with HIV.  Generally all people who become infected will develop antibodies and test positive at 90 days. This is why with conventional HIV antibody testing there's a recommendation to be tested 3 months post-exposure.  With newer fourth-generation tests, these test for antibodies as well as the p24 antigen which is detectable sooner during the acute infection. The symptoms you experienced could be from a viral infection like influenza that just happened to occur at that time.  Don't stress yourself out!  You recognized that you had a high-risk exposure and you did the right thing by getting tested. I would recommend getting another fourth-generation HIV test 90-150 days post-exposure to know definitively and put your mind at ease.
