I wasn't being theoretical, I'm being PRACTICAL. When you can't get the thought of HIV out of your mind, what would you do? get yourself tested of course! Besides, I'm not sure whether scaredshtless138 has ever had an HIV test in his whole life, otherwise he would've known the answers to all the questions he asked. This can be a good opportunity to have your very first HIV test and get better education on HIV prevention. To many people, HIV still sounds so scary simply because they never had an HIV test!

Rio's post means different but all you do is DON'T read that at all as he is trying to explain theoretical things while you are in different situation! NO RISK.
If you've no risk situation, do you need a test or not? Ask and answer to yourself?!
RELAX and stay far from Internet otherwise you'll start watching movies on your imagination!
Last intercourse you are asking about is: NO RISK... NO TEST

No, at least 8 weeks from now, although I'm sure the result will be negative.

I misread it, I thought he said his "exposure" was like 6 months ago, but turns out it was only last night.
scaredshtless138 no, I wasn't saying you had a slight risk. I made it clear that you only had risk IF the condom was broken. But it's not the case, so obviously you're not at risk at all. Having said that, with the high level of anxiety that you have, despite what everybody else has told you here, I guess the only way to convince you that you're not at risk is by testing. Do it 8 weeks from now on, then repeat it after 12 weeks to get a conclusive result.

Relax for a minute and think clearly, you never had a risk. You don,t require any testing.Don,t waste your time. You experienced a No Risk situation.Your just feeling bad about what you did and its clouding your judgement. You have nothing to worry about.

He does NOT need to test after his last night intercourse. Everybody can tell this for sure to him.
Relax scaredshtless138 and do not be scared at all. you're fine and you'll be fine unless you put yourself at risk after last night intercourse.

Definitely not now and not in the future as long as you don't do unprotected vaginal/anal sex or share drug works. Visit a doctor for your symptoms if they persist.

Btw 6 months is more than enough to get a conclusive result.

Did you cheat on your regular partner? Looks like you are overreacting on no risk situation.
You know they put their mouth "all over neighborhood" why you kissed her?
You simply have nothing to worry about what you're asking in this forum.
Go ask for any other bacterial problem if you may have or maybe you got from your "legal" pleasure.
Symptoms you describe any doctor would say are not related to your doubts at all.
Don't go there anymore as it's risky addiction. You're lucky you got afraid after a non risk situation and it may help you stat far from that danger!

Yes you did have sex with a prostitute and you used protection, thats why there was no risk of hiv transmission. As for the kissing.Saliva contains protiens and enzymes that render the hiv virus inactive and therefore unable to infect.Do you understand now why everyone is telling you NO RISK.As for your symptoms,go and see your doctor because they are not related to Hiv.

The 1% that you were talking about only applies when the condom breaks. Had the condom broken, it wouldn't have been just a small tiny cut/hole/tear, but it would've been DISASTROUS. You would've known it. Since I imagine that is not the case (because you didn't mention anything about condom breakage), then it is 100% effective to prevent HIV. The fact that you have herpes doesn't make any difference either, unless the inflammed skin came in contact with vaginal secretion (which I highly doubt if your condom remained intact).

Since it seems that the only way to get this out of your mind is by testing, then YES you need to test as soon as possible.

Look, the way you could contract HIV from her was that your penis was totally uncovered even a sec, and a condom could either stay intact or break very visibly, there's nothing such as a small hole, it's an urban myth. Or, you shared drug works with her. Protected sex is an HIV NIL-RISK activity.

Saliva deactivates HIV, disallowing transmission be it to the giver nor to the receiver.

A conclusive HIV test is acquireable at 3 months post-exposure using HIV antibody test, not 6 months. But if you insist on taking that, you'll get a negative result anyway given your NO HIV RISK and at the period there's nothing such as false negative, which is why WE DON'T RECOMMEND THAT.

Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV. They could be out of fear and/or another disease, and your case has been plentiful here.

Now please move on with your life and stop browsing for HIV stuffs on the net because there's quite a lot of misinformation, be it outdated or exaggerated info and it will be counterproductive anyway.
