Incident and worries

6 weeks ago i met a TS (who part times as an independent sex worker i been told) and we headed to his appt.

We engaged in kissing and touching for a while.

While on bed, he reached my back and started to finger me using her saliva as lubricant.
Then she started rubbing his bare penis and in a given moment he attempted to push harder and harder.

She definitively attempted to penetrate me, i told him to use a condom but he insisted 3 or 4 more times, pushing hard and giving me pain since he was pushing my inner sphincter and i was sure i didn't want to have unprotected sex. I'm a little tight down there so i need time and patience...

Finally she agreed to wear a condom and started another penetration attempt, but at that moment i was really turned off. She insisted again hurting my butt a bit (he fingered me recklessly while tried to penetrate me, i switched the situation to masturbation and i left quite angry about the whole thing.

This incident worried me and made me realize i needed std testing (2 years since last one). So at 3 weeks i tested and everything came back negative.

This has been 6 weeks ago. I've been a little bit anxious, since many experts here say that 3 weeks DUO negative it's non conclusive at all, at least not for this incident.

So my question is: based on my account of my possible risks, should i continue testing further on this particular bare penetration attempt? I've been really busy last months so my last negative sounds good for all past ...my only concern is that last one.

If he did not penetrate you and had he you would have known, you never had an exposure. If he did penetrate you unprotected then you had a risk. Fingering is not a risk of HIV transmiss nor the use of saliva.

It appears from what you describe there was no penetration and therefore no risk,I believe there was an attempt but it was unsucessful.A DUO at 4 weeks is 99.89% reliable and at 6 weeks an antibody test is around 99%.I believe you had no risk and no penetration took place.

I can't tell you really, she put his penis onto my anus and pushed hard, but she never went past thru my inner sphincter unprotected (nor protected, i couldn't relax after having to tell him 5 times to wear a condom....not good vibe).

The external part of my anus was wide open i think, but not the inner sphincter (sorry to be so graphic!).

I know he didn't went all way. I'm trying to asset the risk of for this minimal but painfull penile/anal sphincter contact. I was pushing her back and she was pushing in.

To put it technically. He never got to my rectum, he kept pushing on my inner sphincter, which got quite sore.

If you had an exposure a duo test would be a waste of money, just get an antibody test at 3 months and your negative test result will be conclusive.

You never had an exposure and don't need an HIV test.

You never had a risk because there was no penetration and therefore you need to stop worrying about this matter.If you are going to engage in such activities in the future then make sure the condom is on before any sexual activity begins,you got lucky this time because unprotected anal sex is the highest risk there is.

HIV DUO tests are free in Australia and are extremely accurate at 4 weeks+.

It's totally up to you but from the way you describe the situation you had no risk because there was no penetration.

DUO test at would be a waste of money doesn't matter who is paying for it. The antigen part of the test would be useless.

I tried to describe it as graphic and accurate as i could.

His penis pushing my tight inner sphincter, pain, so moving away was more of a reflex.

I got a little bit anxious about this, back pain, discomfort, joint pain....comes and goes...i'm a bit stressed :/

The HIV experts in both the UK and AUS have established that p24 antigen is detectable months after infection and will stay constant throughout the course of the infection.A study in the UK found that infected people had high levels of p24 antigen several weeks after they were infected.In any event the OP doesn't require testing so this information is strictly for educational purposes.

Antigen tests are good from week 1- week 3/4 once antibody production begins the antibodies attach to the antigen and are no longer detectable.

Yes,but then the antibody part of the DUO will be positive,for this reason the DUO is so accurate at this time frame.

In Teak's view, my negative 3 week Ab/Ag/p24 is good news then?

And in RainLover71's view, a 6 weeks retest would be good idea?

Wrong. The antibodies will not be detected until the blood stream has achieved a detectable level at that could take up to 3 months reason that no test can give a conclusive negative test earlier than 3 months post exposure.

Any negative result is good but only a 3 month post exposure negative test is conclusive.

My GP sent me for a 3 months test anyway. So i collected my negative 3 months test.
I'll try to stay away from unsafe practices, A simple condom from starts would prevented all this stress for 3 months....

I tried to stay away from posting, but yes, like many of the guys posting questions and symptoms...I had lots of "ARS symptoms" and finally, testing it's the real deal.
