Since your protection failed during penetration, the risk is there. However the risk may not be high because probability of your partner being +ve is very low,
Would suggest you to get yourself tested at 6-7 weeks to have a fairly good idea about your status, and repeat the test after another 5-6 weeks to ge a conclusive report.
lab blood test 5 weeks and 1 day after this took place. The result was negative. All I've experienced have been joint and muscle aching for over 5 weeks. I've been afraid to get my follow up test. I'm now at 8 weeks post exposure will lingering symptoms.
Next month will mark three months. After that test can I be sure I'm FINE :( thanks so much for your time sir.
Your 5 weeks test is reassuring. Fouth generation Duo tests detects p24 after 4 weeks of exposure, but still we need to have a test repeated at 3 months mark to get a conclusive statement of your status.
