Is it known why some people do get ARS and others don't?

Not everyone infected with HIV gets ARS. Is there a scientific explanation for that?

I don't post excessively, a few posts in 4 months in not excessive. In facts...this is called posting almost nothing at all

I'm just asking an honest question, and why this should lead to a warning is beyond me. I'm interested in the subject of HIV and want to know more about it. Since you guys seem to know what you're talking about, this seemed to be the right place to ask some questions.
