Kissing Concern with sex worker

Kissing Concern with sex worker

A few days ago I had engaged in kissing with a person of unknown status. The kissing was about 5 short paasionate kisses lasting about 3-5 seconds. I did not taste any blood and after the encounter I washed my mouth out with water. When I spit the water out I did not notice any blood which I believe indicates that I was not actively bleeding. I did notice later in the day that part of my gum line was a little red and irrated which is what concerns me. Since it was not bleeding (blood was not in my mouth nor in the saliva I spit out) but irratated. Would this be a portal into the blood stream? Would there have to be a large amount of blood in the saliva from the other person to make it a concern?

Thank you for your time.

You have nothing to worry about.  HIV is not transmitted via kissing.  Cuts, bleeding gums.....none of that matters, it is not a route of transmission.
