LOW PLATELET COUNT

I had a possible risk exposure to hiv two months ago and recently went to the docs with a problem that required a blood test.The test revealed a low platelet count.Obviously im now concerned i have hiv.My question is would hiv affect platelet count two moths after infection or could my platelet count not be related to hiv.

the only way to know one's status is by testing for HIV.

I have had the same experience! Low thrombocytes after
unprotected oral sex. 14 week negative HIV test but still afraid.
It would be interesting to hear how things turned out for you

I read your post,but you never had an exposure to hiv and your negative test result at 14 weeks is proof of this.
