Pointkillor...instead of planning your life with HIV...go take a test.  NO excuse not to.  YOU put yourself at risk, so man up andf take an HIV test.

We won't see a "cure" in our lifetime, although hopefully I'm wrong.  MANY viral infections do not have a cure...including the common cold and influenza.  The advances in HIV treatments have been incredible.

Not ONE more person has to get HIV...it is 100% preventable.  So, for those of you who are NOT infected, quit worrying about cures and vaccines...just protect yourself.  It's that easy.

Also, there is NO excuse not to get tested.  For one, most people will find out they are NOT infected, so you are most likely just putting off the relief of a negative test.

If you ARE infected, you can start seeking the proper medical care.  In this day and age, HIV/AIDS isn't what it used to be.  Plenty of people live normal life spans after finding out they are infected, as long as they keep up with their medical care.  HIV isn't the "death sentence" it used to be.  That being said...it's not an easy life to live with HIV.  It's just so easy to put on a condom and never have to worry about any of this.  People need to smarten up.  The time to worry about HIV isn't AFTER you've had unprotected sex...it's before...

The only thing I hope that my saliva could 'kill' the virus during 5 min, before my saliva was transferred on my penis head

andrefromrussia:

YOU HAD NO RISK

Pointkillor:

if you had unprotected penetration...then you need to test at the appropriate time.

symptoms not diagnose hiv.  if someone experiences ars symptoms, they come at 2-4 WEEKS post infection and last for 1-2 weeks.

discussing what your life would be like if you contracted hiv is POINTLESS at this time.

The modern therapy can kill virus in the blood.but it can't kill the  virus which inside cell. When therapy stops the virus start make copies again. The idea is extract the virus from cell. The scientist could to do it.when virus left the cell it die by therapy

I read scientific articles about cure HIV.it's almost defeated.the problem is hiv's salvatory inside the cell which 'wake up' when therapy stops..the scientists find some matter which can extract the virus from the cell without stopping the therapy. The tests continue
The another 'weapon' is stem cells.scientists promise the cure hiv by stem cells after 7-8 years
