. It was not bleeding or it did not present any blood in anyway. However, two years after this incident I started developing fat loss in my legs and buttocks area. Some in the face
but noticeable to others. Every since I was a kid--I had always had digestive problems and now growling almost everynight before I go to bed. I don't want to get into all the symptoms. About a month ago I got low wbc
. After just doing some searches on HIV I accidentally ran into Lipoatrophy pictures and it freaked me out because I have always wondered what he causes of this fat loss in my legs and buttocks was. I have seen my friends do some nasty **** and I have never participated in any of their careless sexual lifestyles. I never thought that I need to test and now I am scared to test.
1) Am I at risk?
2) Can lipoatrophy be caused by HIV itself? Or it is side-effect of medication?
3) Is there any other conditions that may cause lipoatrophy?
I am a little confused with your question, you say you had protected sex? And the condom did not fail? If you had protected sex the situation, which you described is not a risk, however if the condom had failed you may need to test just to be on the safe side.
