Lumps in left armpit

by Rob5, Sep 28, 2008 06:31AM
Hi,

I am male 25 years.
I noticed 4 days ago that I had 3 lumps in my left armpit. One is much bigger than the other two. I had oral sex with a woman a week ago. I am also experiencing a bit of flu/fever in the last 4 days. The lumps are painful. Also i thought they will heal in a few days, but i dont see that. The lumps look red and tender.
So i am a bit worried.

Does anyone think it is herpes, HIV infection, or any other infection? Also, are the lumps expected to appear immediately after oral sex in case the infection is because of oral sex?

Kindly let me know asap so i can take appropriate measures. Also let me know what kind of an expert i should see.

nothing you did put you at risk for hiv.

only a doctor can diagnose swollen lymph nodes and their cause.  you do not need an expert...see your regular doctor.
