Well that's good that you went to get that checked out. I guess all you can do is keep an eye on it and eat healthy to get the parasite out. Good luck
Blastocystis hominis (B. hominis) is a microscopic parasite sometimes found in the stools of healthy people as well as in the stools of those who have diarrhea, abdominal pain or other gastrointestinal problems. Infection with B. hominis is called blastocystosis. {CDC} http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/blastocystis-hominis/DS00791
If you received oral sex, then, no. But if you were performing oral sex, as in giving, then you might be a risk. There are theoretical risks like open cuts or sores in the mouth in which the infected fluids can gain access to the bloodstream and having oral problems can be risks of transmission for oral sex. That is what is meant but in receipt of oral sex, one cannot get HIV. It has never been proven.
its confusing some people say u can get hiv with oral sex some say no.
well i just go my blood test it say that .. my
Neutrophil are low 32%
lymphocyte are high 51 %
Monocyte are high 13 %
Eosinophil are normaln
Basophil are normal..
i was reading if the liymphocyte are high it could be a virus or a parasite also tumor.
also with the monocyte
and when the neutrophil are low it could be mainly bacteria, outsiders
in another hand i had my Stool analysis and it says that i have Blastocystis hominis which is a parasite .
maybe that my white blood cell are or weird . but I don´t think with parasite you can get the lymph nodes swollen or maybe yes ?
Actually if you have gingervitis you CAN pass on and STD including HIV. The reason being the gums bleed very easily because of inflammation. The risk is low but it's still there.
Not to scare you or anything but swollen lymphnodes could be a sign of cancer. I'd def go to my doctor and have my white blood cells checked just to make sure. It's ok to have sex and you seem to be on the right track alway using condoms so I commend you for that. There are STD's that can be transferred from skin to skin contact like herpes and warts so even if you use a condom you may still be at risk.
Good luck
You can still have sex just be careful about it and you will be alright. Condoms are your friends, friend.
i will. and def i wont have sex anymore
Why not get tested for peice of mind!
thank very much for your help i really appreciated it
Oh thanks a lot , for u help
one more question do u think is someone that have gingivitis can get HIV .
In receiving oral sex, there is no risk however, when giving oral sex, either it be cunnilingus or fellatio, there is a low, small risk. If you had a cut in the mouth or she had a cut in the mouth or sores or ulcers, infected fluids can come into contact with the cuts and into the bloodstream. That can be a means of infection but rarely does that happen and there is not a proven case of that ever happening in the medical world. It could happen but you are definitely not going to be the first. Yes, Saliva can inhibit the virus and contain it. That is why you wont hear someone getting it from kissing or sharing cups or utensils or from oral contact. If you need more insight about this, please post this in the HIV community so helpers there can set up with more information. If you want, you could pay a fee for expertise from one of our doctors.
ok its kind confusing so ,
there is a risk but risk low . but it could be high risk if i had any cut . or if she had any cut.
but oral sex is low risk but there still a risk but i read saliva kills the HIV virus.
do u think i should get tested?
im really nervous bc of the lymph nodes and since we didnt use condon for oral sex_
Oral is low risk to no risk for HIV transmission. In respect to HIV, the reception of oral sex is no risk. Oral sex is low risk for other std transmission but not a no risk situation. If it was protected, there is no risk at all for all I had said here but unprotected, see what I wrote in the beginning in this post.
what about oral sex without condom?
Clearly this is an ailment of a different sort other than HIV. You had no risk at all from your condom protected exposure. You need to consort with your physician for further insight as to what may be wrong with you.
