Lymph node pain?

Lymph node pain?

Can lymph nodes be painful without being swollen?  I had a "low risk" encounter a couple weeks ago, and have had a weird symptom in the last few days.  Mostly a mild shooting pain in places where lymph nodes are (neck, groin, armpit).    It seems to occur whenever there's pressure on those areas (lying on my side, sitting down)...it seems whenever circulation is restricted to these places.  I know the docs say that only med professionals can accurately tell if lymph nodes are swollen.  I felt each of these areas a million times and have never felt a distinguishable lump in any of them, though.  If a lymph node was swollen, I'd figure I'd feel something.  I don't have any other symptoms at all.  I'm wondering if this is anxiety related.  I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts or hearing about similar experiences.

Leave diagnosing swollen lymph nodes to a doctor. All you will do is cause your lymph nodes to swell and cause them to be tender.
