Lymphoctyes

Im aware your lymphocytes and blood count can be normal even if you have HIV, but in that case would it be safe to assume you would be antibody Positive at that time?  If your blood count is normal and you have hiv that means your body has built up enough antibody to control virus correct?  Or can you be antibody negative and still have normal lymphocytes (cbc) ?  I just had 8 week antibody and cbc , all normal. Doc says no need for 12 week test. Still dont feel 100% though. any thoughts are appreciated.

The doctor advised you that you didn't need further testing because you didn't have a risk to begin with. If you would go back to your January post you would read that you were advise that you were never at risk. You had protected sex.

Hi Teak, althought I greatly value your opinions and years of experiences. I have to disagree.  I had low risk which is not the same a no risk.  After 10 mins of protected sex, i took the condom off and masterbated with my partners secretions.  Im sure 10 mins of a condom rubbing on my head could cause small abrasions in the thin skin. Since than I, and my fiance have had ARS symtpoms, strarting with a rash on my genitals.  Would it be to much to answer my question regarding lymphocytes?  You yourself never say 8 weeks is conclusive only 12 weeks. So how can you not take difference with what my doc says?
