Male Circumcision and Condoms

This might be a stupid question, but I read in a study that a male who is circumcised is 60% more likely to not contract HIV as someone who isn't.  If an uncircumcised male is wearing a condom during protected vaginal sex, is he still 60% more likely to contract HIV and is sex still 60% more dangerous for that person?  Like I said, probably a stupid question, but if it's protected sex, is he still just as safe and the circumcised male?

now raj is giving advice. that is funny! if you add 10 factors together against a man who is uncircumsized and multiply it times thre risk 0, you get 0. if you multiply all the factors of the circumsixed male times zero you get 0. so no!

Well, the point being made when someone says that the risk of transmission is cut by a certain percentage is a valid one. Basically, all that is being said is that circumcision helps to reduce the risks of unprotected sex by some degree. I think that's useful information.

On the other hand, it is a moot point when talking about protected sex. It does not matter if one is circumcised or not, as the condom acts as an effective barrier to the HIV virus. In other words, cut or uncut, it doesn't really matter when wearing a condom. So, to answer your question, yes, the circumcised and uncircumcised male are equally safe when wearing a condom (very, very, very safe), and they both enjoy the effective protection that a condom affords.

And moreover there is no 60%-40%--If ur at risk by .0000001% ur at risk---Thats my opinion.
