Massage Scratches Hiv

Massage Scratches Hiv

Question. I went to massage parlor last night.  No oral, anal, sex or any kind, even handjob. The place advertised in therapeutic massage, so I was suprised when the girl offered to jack me off and do it topless.

ANyways, I checked the girls hands prior to the massage, no cuts, sores that I could see. Problem, I have several red scratches on the side of my leg from itching.  She massaged me lightly over this area and used lotions.  She says she sanitized her hands prior to the massage.  The red scratches (or small dots, only one seemed to be open but not really bleeding) were not bleeding, unless you pushed them really hard.

I am very nervous. If she had a scratch or cut that I did not recognize, and it got in contact with my scratches what are my chances of getting a disease of any kind, let it be hiv,or anything. The red dots are what you would expect to see after you have been itching yourself.

HIV and other STDs are not transmitted through a massage or by hand-genital contact.  If you think about it, nicks or cuts on the hands, and scratches during massage, are of course very common. And still no HIV transmission has ever been known or even suspected. On top of that, it is very unlikely your masseuse had HIV.

Bottom line:  You have no worries here and no need for testing.

Similar questions have been asked innumerable times.  Just enter "hand-genital", "mutual masturbation", or "massage" into the search function to see hundreds of discussions.  Please review some of those before asking any follow-up questions.

Really, don't worry about it.  This was a non-event in terms of STD/HIV risk.

If this was a normal massage, where I wasn't offered "extras" I don't think I would have even posted this.

I know that the rate of hiv is low in commerical sex workers, but it has to be hell of a lot less in people who don't offer sexual services. The concept of going to a place that puports to be therapuetic massage, is aggravating. I kick myself for not getting the hell out of there the minute she offered "extras."

You go to get a massage to relax and you come out more stressed out than when you went in.

"[the HIV rate] has to be hell of a lot less in people who don't offer sexual services":  Not as much difference as you might think.  But in any case, this could have been the highest risk person in the world, but with exposure describe HIV transmission wasn't possible.

As far as your last sentence is concerned, you make it sound like you had no control over the situation.  Of course you could have rejected the lady's kind offer.

For the record, sexual services were offered but not rendered, just massage.
