Massage

by oldhamw, Nov 10, 2009 11:44AM
Hi

A few days ago I had a few drinks with friends and ended up in a massage parlour.

I did not want to indulge in any 'high risk' activities and received a back and shoulder massage.

When  I got home I checked my back there were some small scratches (old I think) some pimpe marks etc.

I did not think much of the incident but for some reason my anxiety levels around HIV have risen over the last few days.

Do I need to get tested?!

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum. Chances are the person who provided your massage was not HIV infected.  Even if she was however, HIV is not transmitted by scratching.   This would not introduce her blood into you or your circulatory system.  You have nothing to worry about and do not need testing.  Take care.  EWH
