. It felt like a twig or something and did not really hurt. I felt around just to make sure and all i felt was sticks and twigs in the sand. When i got back to my house, i noticed an almost microscopic puncture
wound with a tiny bit of dried blood in it, almost microscopic as well. I wiped it with wet cloth and it cleared up and made me think it had been bleeding. Because of my hypochondria
, sore throat, and on and off headaches and mild nausea, which are usually early symptoms of some severe or mild diseases. Now this week I still have these symptoms, but it is my allergy season so I'm not sure if i need to worry or not. My sore throat went away for a few days, but is back and more painful. My question is would i be able to tell the difference between a twig/splinter and a needle? Also, if it was a needle, should i be worried about diseases like HIV? And, how long after exposure do early HIV or other disease symptoms appear? I know i'm probably just worrying too much and over thinking a small situation that i should forget.
I suffer from hypochondria too, so I know how you feel. The needles on a beach would be unlikely to have anything. HIV is a very fragile virus and would die in a second.
Hep C would be a remote possibility.
My allergies are bad this year so I bet that's the problem.
yes most viruses if not all of them cant live for hardly any time at all outside of a host so there is no chance that you could have hiv from this needle so dont worry
