Mononucleosis

I have been exposed to high risky begining of last month(April) and went on PEP within 24hours and right now im waiting to be tested on the 3 month date post nPEP but my question is, i have been having a sore throat since 4th week post exposure upto now 8 weeks since exposure and now i have figured out tht i might have Mono as my toungeis now turning white,i also have swollen lymph nodes in the neck, and i cant have access to a Doctor at these days to confirm because of my location,i heavly depend on internet these days,my question is

1.Is Mononucleosis related to HIV infection?
2.Does sore throat related to HIV last this long?

You help will be greatly appreciated as ure my only source of hope and knowledge

We are not here to diagnosis you, follow up/see a Dr for your symtpoms.

Thanx guys,my exposure was unprotected viginal sex with positive gal unknowingly, and iraq984, is these symptoms are now lasting close to a month,what could they be if those for HIV last for 1-2 weeks?

You cannot determine your status by the presence (or lack thereof) of symptoms.

You also cannot self diagnose mono, you need to see a doctor for that.  Take a standard HIV antibody test at 3 months post your last dose of nPEP for a conclusive result.

What was your "risky" exposure that made you seek out nPEP in the first place?
