Mutual masturbation with Transexual worker

Mutual masturbation with Transexual worker

Dear Dr. i'm 26 year old male that lives in washington DC. According to advertisement and commercials 1 in every 20 adults are infected with aids or hiv in washington DC. About 3 weeks ago i had picked up a African American Transexual worker  from the street, i forgot to ask for his hiv status. We kissed with slight tongue not much at all, and i do sometimes get bumps in my mouth and my gums do bleed when i brush them. we also engaged in mutual masturbation. I did touch the Tranny penis and there was some pre*** that did get on my hand. When the tranny was masturbating me he use the palm of his hand to rub the tip of my penis. My questions are was i at risk with the kissing?...Was i at risk when my hand touched the tranny pre***?....Would i be at risk if the tranny had his own precum on the the palm of his hand and it touch my uretha along with the head of my penis?....I also have a girlfriend who i have unprotected sex with. So the last question are can i continue unprotected sex with her  or should i get tested b/c of the risk at hand? To be honest i dont know if he even had pre*** on the palm of his hand but with high hiv anxiety its amazing what your brain will come up with. I do relize my worries could be do to guilt. I would just die if i were to pass anything on to  my girlfriend. I also must confess that i prolly already know the answer to this judging from other people post, but due to the worries i just need to hear it from a DR's mouth of my own personal situation. I give my word i will not post back with any further ongoing questions. I thankyou for your answers and all the help you provide for people in my situation. This site is greatly greatly appreciated.

Welcome to our Forum.  You have really already answered your question and now are asking for me to confirm your assessment which I'll be please to do.  The activities you describe did not put you at risk for HIV. while you are right that DC has one of the highest HIV rates of any city in the U.S. most people in DC still do not have HIV.  Even if your partner did have HIV there is no risk of HIV from kissing (even with gums that bleed) nor from mutual masturbation, even if , as often happens, you did get your partner's genital secretions on yourself.

I see no reason for concern related to this exposure and no need for testing.  I hope my comments are helpful to you.  EWH

p.s. That your gums bleed when you brush your teeth may suggest that you need to floss more.  EWH

Hey Dr i know you said there was no risk but at the 30 day mark of the issue i described above i took a HIV mouth swab test and it came back negative. Does this test result mean anything?

Why would testing for something you are not at risk for help in any way?  You can test as much as you want- it will not change the outcome.  EWH

I know doctor im just so scared and i just keep thinking what if the precum touched the tip of my penis and came in contact with my uretha. Its the guilt and the anxiety that takes my mind wondering. I'm trying to remind myself that you have been at this for 30years and you know exactly where im going with these questions b/c you have heard them a million times like what if the uretha this, a cut here, if they were newly infected and there viral load was high and etc...all these questions keep going through my head and i just keep looking for confirmation. I apologize for the question.
