Nail Prick from same Nail that pricked my House Help

Hi,

Hope someone can help

House help has HIV/AIDS for over 15 years and being a good Samaritan we kept her on without let her go.(no hate)

Fast forward to today, nail on the door pricks me and later I learn that it pricked her as well, 7-10 minutes earlier.

She claims there was no blood and i did not see blood either.

What should i do, need HELP ASAP

You really needn't worry. HIV has never been known to be transmitted by sharp instrument injuries in the environment. And even when transmitted to health workers, it usually involves a deep injurty with a hollow needle containing HIV infected blood. Non-hollow needle injuries have not transmitted HIV to health workers.

So no risk, no worries, and no need for testing.
